Chad Crouch and David Allred collaborated on two instrumental songs in late 2023 which at first blush are both atmospheric and pastoral. Listening further, both tracks undertake stunning sonic transformations which might place the works in the more experimental and adventurous realm of contemporary classical music. Having said that, the music is neither self-indulgent or distant. Together Crouch and Allred balance warmth and sensitivity with curiosity and boldness.
